Nadya + Luke : A very special shoot with Nadya and Luke. It would appear that I hired some models and set up a scene with Nadya and Luke, and you would be wrong! This was a very unique shoot, where they wanted to recreate some wedding memories a month after they got married, so they called us up and had a beautiful Fall shoot in Port Moody. They were still very much in love, and the wedding glow was still evident after a month!

What happened, was that it turned out to be a beautiful gathering of family from all all over the world, celebrating a love that was found and will last. I was fortunate enough to witness the love and support of family for this couple. Ganesh + Kat : Kat and Ganesh had already wed the day before in an intimate family celebration. The problem? It was raining and dark, so the photos they had from a family member just weren't what they had hoped for. I received a Facebook message on Sunday morning with a cry for help, and zipped down to Deer Lake and met up with the lovely couple. They were staying at The Baldwin House on Deer Lake, and the views and architecture were just stunning! I was so happy to be able to be available for this couple who were jet setting to India for a second (and probably much larger) celebration - we got some great photos to remember their 'Vancouver Wedding'! Priscilla and Peter Highlights : We had the great privilege of being a part of Peter and Priscilla's wedding. The wedding was a fun, light hearted affair with a mix of Western and Chinese cultures. This wedding had it all - the morning receiving the bride games, tea ceremonies, roast pigs, games, love, rings.... everything! Both the bride and groom are very close to their families, which resulted in many special moments at their respective family's homes. Kris and Siea Wedding 2011 : Kris and Siea got married in Vancouver BC at the St. George's Greek Orthodox church in a very intimate gathering with friends and family. It was so intimate, in fact, that the priest was Siea's God-father! We had a wonderful time with the lively couple at the photoshoot and at the reception after. Kirsten and Parker Port Moody : Same day edit of Kirsten and Parker's amazing wedding on September 10, 2011 at Camp Howdy in Port Moody, BC. The pressure was on as we were shooting from 12 - 5:30pm, and had to have the slideshow up and running at 7pm sharp! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding with the sun shining full blast. We had a blast (the Smoke and Bones BBQ was absolutely..... AMAZING!!! Oh and the S'mores cupcakes too) and can't wait to go through all of the pictures in more detail. Congratulations K&P!

Mike and Helen Wedding Highlights : Sun. Beautiful glorious and hot hot sun. Considering how their engagement shoot went (downpour), they were very deserving of this perfect weather. The ceremony was held inside the Sun Yat Sen Garden in the heart of Vancouver's Chinatown. There was a beautiful Asian theme, as the flower girls and ring bearers (all SIX of them!) all wore Chinese outfits. Although the setting was as gorgeous and perfect as could be, Mike and Helen shined brighter than anything around them. It was obvious they were excited, and deeply in love, and we were so lucky to be a part of one of the biggest days of their lives. Please enjoy some of the highlights from the wedding!

Rebekah and Andrew Wedding Photoshoot Highlights : Rebekah and Andrew got married in South Surrey on August 7, 2011 in the presence of friends and family. The coverage for the day was a tag team effort between myself and Rebekah's sister, Elise, of Elise Photography (www.elisephotography.ca). Elise took some great shots of the "Getting Ready" and Reception pictures, which you can see at her blog here: http://elisephoto.blogspot.com/2011/08/andrew-bekah-hitched.html. For the photoshoot, we went to a secret spot (Rebekah and Andrew's secret spot) in White Rock for some stunning photos. The pressure was definitely on for me, as there were two other professional photographers in the bridal party! Although the sun was high over our heads, the pictures in my opinion turned out great and really capture the love between the two newlyweds, and the deep friendship/siblingship between the bridal party. Congratulations Andrew and Rebekah, and thanks so much for letting me be part of your day. I hope these photos will be a great reminder of the vows you said to each other...
